One of the things I hate to do - go to a family's house that has just lost a loved one. This time the family was so very welcoming of us (the paper)and it was a great relief. Maybe it was a cultural difference, maybe a family difference, whatever it was, I was made to feel welcome, and for all the times we're pushed away as journalists, it's these times you remember the most.
